Chennithala –Thripperumthura service co operative bank was formed with 53 members for Rs 530/- as share capital on 29/06/1955 under the great Leadership of Late Sri AMBALAPATTU. A. S DAMODARAN ASAN.This co operative bank was formed by small group of farmers in Chennithala-Thripperumthura Village as “KOOTTUKRISHI SANGAM”.This sangam provides agricultural equipments, Fertilizers, Pesticides to the farmers of the above said villages. And also motivates the farmers for more production of Rice, vegetables and other seed productions. In 1959 the sangam upgrade to Service Sahakarana Sangam and again in 1985 upgrade to Service Co Operative Bank.

The bank will start a Western Union Money Transfer facility for quick and easy money transfer from abroad and other states. This will helps our loan customers in abroad and other states for the repayment of loans within the particular dates.

Bank started a karshika seva kendram in our thaluk as per the selection of co operative department of kerala.Through this Karshika Seva Kendra providing agricultural equipments and vegitable seed to farmers and also conducting training programmes to farmers in our village and thaluk for developing their abilities in agricultural field.Through this Kendra bank provide a good guidance to the farmers for the cultivation of different seeds and other agricultural plans and policies.

We will start a SMS facility to the members of our bank.This will helps the loan customers for the accurate repayment of loans without dues,and also for the Depositors for renewal of deposits.This facility also helpful to the members for the updates of banking operations.
